California Vacation

Well we are all back from California now. We had a great time seeing all of our family, but WOW was that a long drive with 3 one year old's!! We went down at night going down which was ok for the most part except for the driver and co-pilot (My Dad and Mom) getting little to no sleep for 24 hours. The babies slept off and on for most of the trip. We actually left early because we saw that there was a big storm coming all along the coast. We wanted to beat it as soon as we could so we left last morning which made for 2 really long days in the car. But, we all made it home alive and kickin'. I would go into more detail but I wanted to do that with my pictures.

Oh yeah I started a new "project" at the beginning of this month which kind of correlates with P365 that I do now which is taking my favorite photos from the month and putting them into 2 scrapbook pages every month. Unfortunately I started late and have only done the one for January. I am almost done with the one for February I will post that one in a few days.

The Santa Cruz Beach Wharf

On the Santa Cruz Beach Wharf there are always sea lions the hang out there. The kids loved to watch them. Some of them were barking so loud the kids were really curious what was making all of that noise.

Lucy looking at the sea lions.

Papa carrying Lucy on his shoulders, going to the next destination.

At the Beach!

We wrote a note in the sand for dad!

Lucy loves to play in the sand.

Nana and Lucy making their way down to the water.

Adorable picture of Rosalee at the water she really enjoyed it.

Daven however was not a fan of the water as much. He was ready to go soon after his little feet got wet. I think he got cold.

Mommy and Rosalee at the Beach.

McDonalds Playland

We wanted to go out to breakfast this day but there is always the question lingering whenever we go out anywhere "is there 3 high chairs" so we thought McDonalds! They always have enough highchairs. and that early in the morning there were no other kids in the play place so it was a perfect time for the kids to play around without getting trampled.

Lucy and Rosalee looking at me through the netting.

Hi Daven, Hi Nana! He was so quick climbing up the stairs that Nana had to go in a fetch him before he went down the slide.

Daven got his first "real" haircut today. He did such a great job! He had his sucker and sat there like a big boy the whole time!

We visited My mom's cousins today. We had a great time with them for the afternoon. The kids played outside in the mud so by the time we left for the day everyone was pants-less.

That afternoon we noticed Rosalee had pink eye. And since we are from out of town our only option was to go the the emergency room, which took four hours! We went to an Urgent care but they denied us service because we have Idaho Insurance. So off we went to the ER. That night was exhausting! Thanks Nana for sticking it out with Rose and I . This photo is a picture of Rosalee on Nana's lap in the exam room.

It was a nice enough day that we let the kids play outside. At least it was nice for us I think that it was 60 or so. The kids enjoyed playing in Nalia's pink jeep.

Nalia got to come out for a few minutes and drive the kids around a little bit. They really enjoyed that.

And Rosalee as usual standing on whatever she can. She is such a dare devil.

A cute picture or Rosalee outside.

Lucy really enjoyed riding around in this little car.

This was fun... bath time at Kelli's house. Poor Daven the only boy in the tub. cousins Penny and Daphne joined the kids in the tub. It was a full house.

We took at Detour on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's to Bass Outlet.

Lucy with a Raccoon I love her face in this photo.

There were so many of the animals that are close enough to touch which was a lot of fun the kids couldn't keep their hands off of them.

Daven scratching the big bears chin.

inside of the store was a waterfall that emptied into a big fresh fish tank with different fish in there all the kids loved to watch all the fish come right up to the glass.

Daven wanted to get on the little four wheeler. He looked like a pro on there.

Rosalee and Papa looking at the bear when you first walk in.

I just couldn't help snapping this picture Rosalee and Daven were holding hands in the car, how cute.
